Plan
Since last year, CHATGPT has sparked a heated discussion in our school. A large number of people have started to try to use AI to enhance learning efficiency. Various universities, including ours, have gradually begun to incorporate AI into their teaching policies.
However, I've noticed a few issues:
- Many students might simply view AI as a tool for cheating, which is unethical and contrary to the purpose of learning.
- Many people don't know how to use AI more effectively. Although AI seems simple, it requires some technical ability to use properly. The official CHATGPT from OpenAI is very expensive, and many students cannot afford the monthly fees. In addition, the official OpenAI website and apps are quite rudimentary. I believe students need more efficient tools and a more reasonable payment plan.
I hope to develop a product to solve these AI learning issues:
- To aid in learning, students should use models that have been fine-tuned for specific courses. The responses from these fine-tuned AIs will be more accurate, reducing errors.
- AI can provide features like material summarization and problem correction. Combined with visual, voice, and OCR technologies, AI can also help students summarize the content of daily lectures, thereby better assisting students with revision.
- With appropriate adjustments, AI can avoid directly providing answers to questions. Instead, it can guide students step-by-step through the methods to solve problems. This avoids issues of cheating and better assists students in their learning.
